A webinar was organized with joint efforts of IIPHG-TBI for Public Health and NOVABEANS Prototyping Labs, Ahmad Ali from IIPHG-TBI and Darshan Shah(BDE-HealthCare) from Novabeans provided the Knowledge Support for the same.

As a part of efforts to benefit large number of audience for the webinar, Publicity material as well as webpage has been developed by in-house team of IIPHG-TBI for Public Health and more than 3000 emails, 500+ personal messages through WhatsApp has been sent. Other social Media Platforms were also utilized including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. As a result of such efforts, we have received more than 400 applications across the different states of India.

The webinar was hosted on ZoomWebinar online platform. The session was joined by more than 130 participants. Mr. Ahmad Ali, IIPHG-TBI has shared the basics of 3D Printing followed by Mr. Darshan Shah giving relevant examples and case studies of 3D printing in COVID Crisis and in various Healthcare sector. The session covered from the basics of 3D printing to the advance level of 3D printing application till the end of the webinar almost more than 100 people were still there asking questions and knowing more about the technology.

Novabeans and Mr. Ahmad have appreciated the quality of questions asked by participants and try to answer most of the questions raised by participants during online session. The session took about 100 minutes and all the participants were satisfied with the answers of speaker(s). We’ve also received various questions regarding building startup around 3D printing for medical devices which is positive outcome for IIPHG-TBI.

The participants were appreciated the efforts done by the organizers to arrange the webinar and also request for having such sessions in future covering specific aspects of Healthcare.
